Many people still love the
Ubuntu log on sound rather than the log on sound of Windows 7. Because
Windows 7 log on is too short. Ubuntu logon sound is little
more lengthy, a natural sound. It is good sound that
doesn’t feel boring while listing to it again and again. In this post I am going to explain you
how to change the Windows 7 start up sound/logon sound to Ubuntu start up sound/log on sound
. Here are the steps.
NOTE: These steps are for Windows 7 and not for XP
1) Download Ubuntu log on sound.
2) Right click on the speaker button at the left bottom of Windows 7 (Taskbar).
3) Click Playback devices.
4) Select the tab Sounds.
5) Find Windows logon.
6) Click on Browse and select the downloaded sound (modifymypc_desktop_login.wav).
7) Apply and OK.
8) Done.
