How to Block unwanted SMS by registering your number to NDNC?
To block messages we have to send a sms to 1909 (Toll Free Number) asking for DND (Do Not Disturb)
Here is the procedure...
Note: It takes 7 days to see the result.
1) If you want to block all types of Calls and SMS in the above category send a SMS "START 0" to 19092) If you want to block Calls and SMS from any one of the above category send a SMS "START <option no.>" to 1909
Eg: To block 'Real Estate' send SMS "START 2" to 1909
3) If you want to block Calls and SMS from multiple options of the above category send a SMS "START <option no.1>,<option no.2>,<option no.3>" to 1909
Eg: To block 'Education' and 'Health' send SMS "START 3,4" to 1909
For de-registration send a SMS "STOP" to 1909
